Signings for next season
If a player in the last year of his contract says he will not renew with his club, or his club marks him as «Do not renew», the other clubs with a manager can offer him a contract for next season: a salary and a payment to his agent. Five days after the first accepted offer, the highest payment wins and the player joins his new club when the season closes. You will find them in Market › Auctions, marked «Next season», and in listings with the NR, NS and → badges.

Renewing is clearer
When you offer a renewal you see the salary the player asks for: offer that or more and he accepts. Below it he may ask you to improve your offer or break off talks for the rest of the season.

New «Do not renew» button
If you do not want a player in his last year to stay at your club, mark him on his profile: other clubs will be able to sign him for next season and, if nobody does, he will become a free agent when the season closes. You can undo it as long as no club has entered the auction.

Staying on his own, as in the original IFM
If a player has neither renewed nor been signed by anyone when the season closes, the chance that he stays on his own depends on his value again, as in the original: the best ones usually stay and low-value players leave.

Every player now has his portrait on his profile and in listings.

More realistic heights and weights
Players now have footballer heights and weights: goalkeepers taller, wingers lighter. It is purely visual: nothing in the game changes.
